How We Built Our Own Care Billing System

At Helper Station Fair Support, which opened in July 2026, we bill for our care services using a system we developed ourselves.

Three programs, one system

A home care office in Japan bills under several public programs, each with its own rules and forms:

  • Disability welfare services (home care for people with severe disabilities, and related services): electronic claims to the National Health Insurance federation

  • Long-term care insurance (home-visit care): electronic claims to the same federation

  • Mobility support: claims to the city in its own format

Our system takes the records helpers enter, totals them automatically, and produces the files we submit.

Helpers' records feed one billing system, which produces claims for disability welfare, long-term care insurance, and mobility support

Our first claim

Our disability-services claim for our first month (July) was submitted with files generated by this system, and was paid in full, with no returns or adjustments.

Why build it ourselves

Billing errors go straight to an office’s credibility. And the less time staff spend on paperwork, the more they can spend on care itself.

We are a company whose core business is AI and software development. We use that same capability in our own care practice.
